Vacation
Itinerary:
Day 1, Vancouver
Upon arrival in Vancouver, transfer on your own to your selected hotel.
Included today is admission to the Lookout Tower. Overnight in Vancouver
Day 2, Kamloops
Early this morning you will transfer to the Vancouver train station to
board the Rocky Mountaineer for a two day daylight tour to Banff. Breakfast
and lunch are included on board today, as well as Kamloops transfers. Overnight in a moderate Kamloops hotel
Day 3, Banff
Re-board Rocky Mountaineer for the second day of the train portion to
your tour. Today you will travel into the Rocky Mountains going over Rogers
Pass and through the Spiral Tunnels before arriving into Banff in the
evening. Breakfast and lunch are again included onboard today. Upon your
arrival, pick up your rental car and transfer to your selected hotel. Overnight in Banff
Day 4, Lake Louise
Your day is at leisure to explore the town of Banff and surrounding area
before traveling less than an hour to Lake Louise. Included are admission
to the Banff Gondola on Sulphur Mountain, Cave & Basin National Historic
Site and Upper Hot Springs. Overnight in Lake Louise
Day 5, Lake Louise
Your journey today will take you up the Icefields parkway, one of the
most spectacular highways in Canada. Along the way, you will see many
glaciers, glacier-fed lakes and spectacular peaks. A stop at the Athabasca
Glacier gives you the opportunity to take a ride on one of Brewster’s
unique SnoCoaches up onto the glacier (admission included). Overnight in Lake Louise
Day 6, Calgary
Today you will continue on into Calgary. Your tour ends with dropping
your rental vehicle either downtown or at the Calgary International Airport.
