Itinerary:
Day 1, Vancouver
Upon arrival in Vancouver, pick up your rental vehicle and transfer
to your selected hotel. Included today is admission to the Lookout
Tower. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 2, Victoria
Today you will travel to Victoria by ferry (ferry fare not included)
across the Strait of Georgia. On your way to the ferry terminal,
stop in at the fishing village of Steveston and the newly restored
Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site (admission included).
After you have arrived on Vancouver Island, enjoy the rest of
your day at the world-famous Butchart Gardens (admission included)
Overnight in Victoria.
Day 3, Victoria
Your day is at your leisure to explore all Victoria has to offer.
Check out Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Site (admission included)
and the Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Site, located just
outside the city (admission included). Overnight in Victoria.
Day 4, Campbell River
Travel north today along the Island Highway until you reach the
junction of Highway 4 where you will head west toward the Pacific
Ocean. On the way, you may wish to stop at Quw’utsun Native
Village (included) in the picturesque town of Duncan. Afterwards,
continue on to Campbell River for one night. Overnight in Campbell
River.
Day 5, Port Hardy
Depart Campbell River this morning and enjoy the west coast scenery
on your way to Telegraph Cove, where you will have a whale watching
tour starting at approximately 1:00 pm. After your tour, continue
heading towards the northern tip of the island for your overnight
stay. Overnight in Port Hardy.
Day 6, Prince Rupert
Today will be spent travelling on the Queen of the North (BC Ferries)
up the Inside Passage from Port Hardy to Price Rupert. Included
is reserved Mid-Ship lounge seating. Your journey will last approximately
15 hours and you may have the opportunity to see aquatic wildlife
from one of the ship’s many decks and viewing areas. Overnight
in Prince Rupert.
Day 7, Smithers
Departing Prince Rupert today, you will travel along the Yellowhead
Highway through the rugged hinterlands of British Columbia, traveling
alongside the Skeena River. Continue east along the Yellowhead
Highway towards Hazelton. Centuries before pioneers arrived to
settle in this region, Gitksan and Wet’suwet’en Native
villages prospered around the confluence of the Skeena and Bulkley
Rivers. Continue along Highway 16 to the town of Smithers, renowned
for its lively alpine theme, red brick sidewalks and colourful
flags. This charming town is nestled in the heart of the Bulkley
Valley and is surrounded by the rugged mountain ranges of the
Hudson Bay, the Telkwas, Bulkley and Babine. Overnight in Smithers.

Day 8, Prince George
Continuing on the historic route of the Yellowhead Highway, you
will stop at Fort St. James National Historic Site (admission
included), an authentic 1885 Hudson’s Bay fur trading post
that features many restored buildings, site interpreters, a museum
and a theatre. Overnight in Prince George.
Day 9, Jasper
On your final day of travel along the Yellowhead Highway, you
will enter the Rocky Mountains and pass by Mount Robson (highest
peak in the Canadian Rockies) on your way into Jasper. Overnight
in Jasper.
Day 10, Jasper
Your day is at leisure to explore this quaint mountain village
and to take a cruise on Maligne Lake (included). Overnight in
Jasper.
Day 11, Banff
Depart Jasper today and travel along the spectacular Icefields
Parkway and visit the Columbia Icefield, featuring a Parks Canada
Interpretive Centre and Brewster’s famous SnoCoach tour
of the Athabasca Glacier (SnoCoach ride included). Anther must-see
stop along the way is the “Jewel of the Rockies,”
Lake Louise. Overnight in Banff.
Day 12, Banff
You have a full day today to see the highlights of Banff from
the Banff Gondola and at the Cave & Basin National Historic
Site before relaxing in the Upper Hot Springs (all three admissions
included). Overnight in Banff.
Day 13, Lac Le Jeune
Today’s journey takes you through the Rockies, over Rogers
Pass and into the semi-arid desert region of Kamloops where you
will spend a peaceful evening at a property located a few minutes
outside of town. Dinner is included this evening at the hotel.
Overnight in Lac Le Jeune.
Day 14, Vancouver
After breakfast (included) you will travel through the scenic
Fraser Canyon to Vancouver. Along the way, you can make stops
at Hell’s Gate Airtram and Minter Gardens (admission to
both included). Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 15, Vancouver
Check-out and drop off your rental car this morning to end you
tour.
